"Welcome to Kath’s Kitchen Journey”, a culinary journey where I invite you to explore the vibrant world of flavors, recipes, and food experiences. As an avid cook and someone who grew up in a family that owned a Japanese restaurant in the Philippines, food has always been an integral part of my life.

From an early age, the aromas wafting from my parents' kitchen and the hustle and bustle of our family restaurant sparked a deep passion within me. Surrounded by the clinking of pots and pans, the sizzle of ingredients in the pan, and the joyous laughter shared over meals, I quickly fell in love with the art of cooking.

I took a leap of faith and started sharing pictures of my culinary creations on Instagram and Facebook. To my delight, my friends and families began liking my posts and asking me for recipes. Their enthusiasm and curiosity fueled my determination to embark on this exciting new chapter – starting my own food blog.

Through this blog of mine, I aim to transform those yummy food pictures into detailed recipes that you can recreate in your own kitchen. I want to share the joy and satisfaction that cooking brings, as well as the stories and memories behind each dish.
